It is often inexpensive and is mandatory in buildings made of polycarbonate sheets. Without it, the service life of the structure is reduced many times. The tape has a self-adhesive base and is durable in use. It tends to follow the air temperature, as do the panels themselves. Inside the polycarbonate sheet, it creates an optimal microclimate, freeing it from condensate. The big advantage is that the tape resists friction of a profile at installation. Its service life is more than 10 years. It is not exposed to UV radiation and high humidity. The structure of the tape is not disturbed by sudden changes in temperature, it prevents the appearance of mold and fungus. There is perforated and non-perforated tape of different width and length in a roll.
